Yep loving another is risky. Yet also rewarding. If it’s a shared experience built on trust, mutual love, respect and a 50/50 responsibility split it’s the best ride of a lifetime.

Love this article, and it makes me think about the fluidity of attachment styles. I'm dealing with some inner attachment rearing in my own life. It can be such a journey!

Maggie, thanks for the read and for sharing your reflections. That is interesting, I did actually think a lot about attachment styles early in this relationship. Mostly because Facebook was listening in to my life and so bombarded me with videos about the avoidant and anxious attachment styles! It pushed me to learn more about the theories behind these styles, but interestingly - I never thought about the styles being 'fluid'. But indeed you're right - by definition they should be fluid - on the journey towards healthy secure attachment. 💗

Our attachment behavior can change depending on who we have in front of us. I'm going to be talking about this in my next pod episode I think

I think it's amazing that you fought enough to choose love. I am actively not dating right now, and have had too many shit experiences to know when I'll try again, but seeing people choose to face their fears and be brave? That's always inspiring.

Maia, clearly I can SO relate. I hope that when the time is right for you - love will come and bang down your door to make doubly and triply sure you don’t miss it, as it did for me.

It's only a pain in the ass to peel a boiled egg if the eggs are very fresh. The perfect way to do it is, let the eggs age a bit. At least a week, maybe 10 years. Boil them then crack the shells by tapping them all over, and let them sit in cold water. It all doesn't have to be as painful as we make it.

"At least a week, maybe 10 years." I love it.

I hate to brag, but my instantpot makes hard boiled eggs that you can crack AS SOON AS THEY ARE DONE. And the peels just slide right off. So…. does this mean I am winning at life or something?

Damn Robin. That is one hell of a flex. 💪 Yes, I approve - you are *definitely* winning at life.
